Patrick J Reinsma Wisconsin Governor’s Conference on Tourism Memorial Scholarship
The Southwest Wisconsin Chamber Alliance (SWCA) is pleased to announce the Patrick J. Reinsma Wisconsin Governor's Conference on Tourism Memorial Scholarship. Through generous donations from many of the communities and counties that Patrick served, an individual in the tourism industry who would be unable to attend due to financial restrictions will now have the opportunity to attend the annual Wisconsin tourism conference (WIGCOT). The scholarship will award $550.00 up to four applicants from any one of the 19 counties that were included in Patrick’s region at the time of his passing.
Patrick Reinsma, who passed away unexpectedly in June 2016, served as Regional Tourism Specialist with the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. Patrick was a tremendous asset to the tourism industry, and specifically to the 19 county regions he represented in southwest Wisconsin.
Applicants who wish to apply for the 2022 scholarship need to submit their completed application by February 11, 2022. Applications are available online at www.prairieduchien.org.
